- 3. We will use Point Streak again for our online scoring and Post Season Tournaments.
- 4. Insurance Rates for 2012 are the same as 2011

5. AA teams with a player born in 1994 must register as a Senior Team, and buy Senior Insurance and can still particpate in the AA program.
6. We have established a mid-season all star showcase mini-tournament designed to promote our Junior players to college and pro scouts.
6. We have extended the date that you have to buy your insurance polices to May 15th. This will help Junior teams that are not sure if they will have a player born in 1994. This date may very based on your Area SOP's.

| Welcome to the 2012 American Legion Baseball season. There are several exciting things new for 2012 that will help our team managers with the paperwork and registration of their teams and players. We are attempting to collect all the information from the players and parents online so that the team managers can use that information to complete the registration on the National website. |
| Another exciting development for the future is the development of our Washington State American Legion Baseball Hall of Fame (HOF). |
We are currently interviewing people statewide about former players, managers, coaches and volunteers who have made a difference in Washington State American Legion Baseball.
We intend to hold a induction ceremony at a banquet in the fall of 2012. Watch this website for updates on the HOF. |

WASHINGTON STATE AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL FOUNDATION
In addition to the HOF we received our official 501c3 status in 2011 for our Washington State American Legion Baseball Foundation. We are soliciting donations to the Foundation, with the proceeds going to support American Legion Baseball activities statewide and to provide scholarships for players planning to attend college. Watch this website for updates on the Foundation. |

For the past 85 years The American Legion has been offering summer baseball for the youth of Washington State. We have become one of the premier programs in the Nation and many of our players have gone on to play in the college, minor league and the major leagues.

| If you are not currently participating in the Washington State American Legion Baseball, contact us and find out how you can get involved. Our program is designed to teach leadership, sportsmanship, responsibility and citizenship to players ages 13 through 19 years old. |
